Eligibility criteria

The students interested to take bpt admission in Bangalore should qualify the following eligibility criteria:

  • The candidates belonging to general or unreserved category should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent in PUC or 10+2 education for joining the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course.
  • The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category should have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% or equivalent in PUC or 10+2 education (or equivalent) for joining the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course.
  • The candidates should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission.
  • The candidate should have passed any other examination conducted by Boards/ Councils/ Intermediate examination established by State Government/ Central Government and recognized as equivalent to Pre-University Examination by recognised state board and central board.
  • The candidates should have completed a Pre-University course with Vocational Physiotherapy as their optional subject.
  • The candidates should have pursued Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as their main subjects.
  • Eligibility in national/ state/ institution qualifying examinations.
  • Lateral Entry into 2nd year of the 4.5-years BPT course for candidates who have completed the DPT course conducted by the Paramedical Board.
  • The candidate should submit to the Principal of the Institution a certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Government Medical Officer.
